Hot Toddy Tumble Fri Dec 17thJoin your neighbors for a holiday stroll while helping a good cause!

Let’s get together for a safe, socially-distanced holiday celebration to benefit a good cause! We are looking for neighbors to both host a stop on and participate in the Hot Toddy Tumble. (Think local bar crawl but with grown people in a neighborhood version where we do something for others.)

Friday, December 18, 5 to 7 pm
(Inclement weather date: December 19)

Don’t be a Grinch! Join your neighbors for a fun night of socially-distanced mingling to benefit My Brother’s Keeper, aka MBK617.

Host homes should have an outdoor space (yard, porch, or driveway) that is conducive for safe, socially distanced gathering. As a host, you will provide Tumble-goers with a small (4oz) holiday-themed cocktail of your choice and a small hors d’oeuvre. A non-alcoholic drink should also be available.

In lieu of a registration fee, we are asking participating Tumblers to donate a gift to benefit MBK617 for local families in need.  Gifts will be collected at the first stop on the Tumble. At the first stop, you will receive a ticket for the rest of the Tumble stops. A map will be provided to registered Tumblers on December 17.

Don’t want to Tumble but want to give to a good cause? We will have a designated spot to drop off donations through December 19.

Register here to be a host or a participant.

MBK617 is a Dorchester-based nonprofit created to provide mentoring to young men and boys in the Boston community aged 8 and up. The goal is to show the youth that they can make choices that will lead them to increased academic growth and professional opportunities. Through the pursuit of these opportunities, they will grow to become an asset to the community, and leaders of the next generation.  To learn, more visit https://www.mbk617.org.
